eShare Client Information as Secure as Banks
Security experts Portcullis have tested the robustness of eShare’s hosted governance software solution, with excellent results. The same test principles were used that are employed to test the critical systems of banks and government agencies.
The Portcullis team is comprised of specialists in information security. Portcullis found “eShare’s external infrastructure and the web server itself to be very well configured– the specialists could not gain unauthorised access, meaning their client’s sensitive data remained secure throughout.”
eShare provides a safe way to hold and share sensitive data. With important legislation and guidelines such as the Data Protection Act on how sensitive data should be handled, it is critical to have a secure environment in which to store it.
Optional Two Factor Authentication
eShare have introduced the facility for two-factor authentication to provide our clients with the option of an enhanced level of security. The method that eShare have implemented will require a username and password and a code provided by a soft token on your smartphone. Where a client does not have access to a smartphone, one time passcodes can be sent as text messages to their registered mobile phone number.

Security features of the BoardPacks App - Any data stored on the device is encrypted using a temporary security token provided by our servers, in addition to Apple's security.
- All data is secure including the search index; even on a non-secure iPad.
- Any data synced in transit is secured using SSL, including synchronisation.
- Your logon details are never stored on disk in order to prevent a compromise of data held on eShare.
