Industry Working Group on Incentive Exercises powered by eShare software

An Industry Working Group, which was set up by the Pensions Minister to develop a Code of Good Practice for Incentive Exercises, used eShare Governance Software to collaborate and reduce costs.

The Working Group was large, consisting of 29 senior representatives from organisations including actuaries, consultants, lawyers, trustees, consumer groups and industry bodies such as the Pensions Regulator. The group implemented eShare’s governance software in order to manage their documents and meetings and collaborate in a secure environment.

Margaret Snowdon OBE, Chairman of the Industry Working Group, is well acquainted with eShare from some of her other work with the Pensions Administration Standards Association (PASA). Margaret approached eShare looking “for a very simple tool to limit the costs, but eShare offered us full functionality for free, as a contribution to the work of the group.”

The Group used eShare to collaborate in a simple and consistent way to manage meetings, versions of documents as they evolved, and as a comment site for group discussions on various topics. Members are not required to keep up with copious email trails, but instead have all the information they need in one central and secure workspace.

“eShare supported us throughout, held a training session for members of the group, provided guidelines and always responded immediately to any request for help. I am very grateful to eShare for making the tool available and for showing us how powerful it can be for collaborative working for real and virtual teams.” Margaret Snowdon.

Alister Esam, CEO of eShare commented “The work of this group is important for the industry and we were pleased to be able to support this effort by offering our software.”
